Driven by a passion for women's empowerment, Nomndeni Sethole Mdakhi has launched "Agenda Woman," a digital platform fostering connection and collaboration among women.

Nomndeni Sethole Mdakhi, a seasoned entrepreneur with a focus on information and communication technologies, is a marketing graduate from the University of Johannesburg (2004). She is also the Founder and CEO of Agenda Woman, an online platform established in 2018 to cater to women seeking connections with like-minded individuals and content facilitating personal and professional growth.

The platform goes beyond the usual networking circles, aiming to build a supportive community where women can share experiences, access resources, and uplift each other through mentorship and professional development initiatives.

On what inspired the creation of Agenda Woman, Nomndeni Sethole Mdakhi said: "I separated from my ex-husband in 2016 after being together for 13 years. That transition made me realize that I had no one who would understand my standpoint, that I could talk to. Now I have this desperate need to bring women together and create a space where they can have conversations about common issues they’re facing. I felt like there was no authentic space where that was already taking place and in a manner that made it easy for people to open up."

Before Agenda Woman, Mdakhi co-founded, in 2009, the Fuse Academy for Girls, a school aimed at empowering young women aspiring to pursue careers in the entertainment industry.

Her professional career began in 2006 at MultiChoice, an entertainment company, where she served as a Customer Service Representative. Subsequently, in 2007, she transitioned to Discovery Holdings, assuming the role of Customer Relations Manager for healthcare professionals. From 2011 to 2021, she held the position of General Manager at Edits Communications.
